OCR: Going From "A" to "B" With "Easy" Mode Tumed Off The basic problem of flying ad'al" spaceship, in a zero- gravity environment ( suchinterstellar space) is that when you tum the spaceslit keeps going in the same direction it was goingdre you tumed - so, you can't get to an object just byeering towards it. Here is the method I use to reahh desired target: 1 Start at zero velocity (hit th"Stop" button if you have to, but technically, that'seating) and point the spaceship towards the target. 2' Hit the "Forward" button toast going towards the target. As you approach it, slodown gradually, and stop ( as much as possible) befane fly past it. 3 Tum the spaceship so it iscfag the target again. 4 Repeat step3 2 and 3 untiliget however close to the target you want to be. You can also "steer" the spship without stopping by using the vertical/horizontaltust control. This method of "mid- course correctionis"used in the real world, because it uses less fudHowever, it is very difficult to master, and even hard to describe.
